What started it all. Born in Los Angeles, California, Mitchell Schultz's passion for filmmaking began with skateboarding. After moving to Salt Lake City, Utah, he picked up a camera at 14 to film himself and his brother skating. A decision that would shape the course of his life.

A passion that started with documenting sessions with friends quickly evolved into a deep appreciation for visual storytelling. Following the release of his first full-length skate film, Time Again, Mitchell returned to Los Angeles in 2015 to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a professional skate filmmaker. That path led to collaborations with brands and organizations including X Games, éS Footwear, DGK, Expedition One, Mitchell & Ness, Etnies, Red Dragon Apparel, and many more.

The fast-paced, unpredictable world of skateboarding laid the foundation for Mitchell's filmmaking style, teaching him to anticipate moments, adapt on the fly, and tell authentic stories with energy and intention.
